Pedro Lott
Pedro Lott is a 3rd degree black belt and has been teaching Brazilian jiu jitsu for over 11 years. Pedro’s passion for spreading the art of jiu jitsu has earned him international experience, teaching in Thailand, Australia and United Arab Emirates. Pedro has trained alongside the world’s best jiu jitsu fighters.

Pedro started training judo as a young child in 1985 at Augusto Cordeiro in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The love for martial arts that Pedro had developed as a young child lead him to begin training jiu jitsu in 1993 under Paulo Guillobel. In 2003 Pedro began training at Brazilian Top Team, a world renowned MMA and BJJ school in Rio De Janeiro. In 2008 Pedro received his black belt under Eduardo ‘Teta’ Rios.

Pedro’s love for jiu jitsu has taken him all over the world. In 2007 Pedro moved to Thailand to teach BJJ at Chay-Yai Gym in Chiang Mai. While he was there he had 2 professional muay thai fights. His time in Thailand lead him to an opportunity to teach jiu jitsu in Australia as well. In 2008 Pedro moved to Sydney, Australia where he taught at Bulldog Gym.

While Pedro was in Australia, he received an invitation from Carlos Santos to help develop a jiu jitsu project in United Arab Emirates that would implement jiu jitsu instruction in all public schools across the country. After 2 consecutive years of Pedro coaching his students to state and national titles, he was given an opportunity to be the personal jiu jitsu instructor for members of the royal family of Abu Dhabi. Pedro trained alongside Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed for over 5 years.

In 2014 Pedro decided it was time for the next chapter in his jiu jitsu career; opening an academy of his own.
